Complete History Backfill
By default AutoSync only sees sales, visits, and memberships that happen after you connect it. The Complete History Backfill pulls every contact's full Mindbody history so metrics like lifetime value and member churn reflect reality — not just what happened since install.
Mindbody only. The card lives on the Settings → Main tab and doesn't appear on Booker accounts — Booker's API doesn't expose bulk historical purchase and visit data, so there's nothing to backfill from. On Booker, history comes in through onboarding and per-calendar resync (below).
Why it matters
Until the backfill runs, a pre-existing customer looks wrong: someone with $3,919 of lifetime spend in Mindbody would show as $47 (the one purchase AutoSync witnessed since install). To stay honest, AutoSync intentionally leaves these fields blank in HighLevel until the backfill seeds the full ledger:
⇌ Lifetime Value⇌ Combined / Service / Product / Contract Purchase Total⇌ First Purchase Date,⇌ Purchase Count- Pre-install contracts (no
⇌ Contract End Date)
After it runs, every existing contact's purchase aggregates populate from their full sales history, and ongoing webhooks keep them current.
Where to find it
- Open AutoSync → Settings and stay on the Main tab.
- Scroll to the Complete History Backfill card.
- If your location is on Booker, this card won't be there — it's Mindbody only.
How it works
- AutoSync shows a live quote based on your contact count — a one-time charge via Stripe. You see the exact price before you pay.
- Click Run complete backfill, complete the checkout, then start the run.
- It runs in the background with a live progress bar (X of Y contacts) — you can leave the page.
- You can run it again any time; pricing reflects the current contact count. Re-running within about a week prompts a confirmation, since most of the work would be no-op refreshes.
Getting recent contacts in (no backfill needed)
You don't need the backfill just to see recently-active clients:
- Onboarding pulls 90 days of future bookings for each mapped calendar.
- Per-calendar resync — on the Calendar Sync page, re-syncing a calendar backfills its recent and upcoming bookings (and the contacts attached to them).
The Complete History Backfill is for when you want every contact plus their full lifetime of purchase and visit history — the numbers your reporting depends on.
