Service Lines
A modern studio isn't one product. The same member might hold a training membership, book
recovery sessions, and race HYROX — and "are they active?" has a different answer for each.
Service Lines gives every offering its own folder of ⇌ fields on the
contact, so you can see — and automate — each line on its own, while the roll-up fields still
answer for the whole relationship.
What a service line is
A service line is one distinct offering: Functional Fitness, Recovery, HYROX, a youth program, strength club — whatever categories your studio actually runs. AutoSync detects candidate lines from your Mindbody programs and class categories, you confirm and name them on the Service Lines page in the app, and from then on every membership, visit, and purchase is attributed to its line automatically. Service Lines is available for Mindbody studios — reach out and we'll enable it for your account.
The per-line folder
Each line gets a HighLevel folder named after it — ⇌ Hyrox, ⇌ Recovery, and so
on — holding the same eighteen fields per line:
| Field | What it tells you |
|---|---|
⇌ {Line} Enrollment Name | The active membership(s)/enrollment(s) in this line, comma-separated. |
⇌ {Line} Enrollment Status | Where they stand in this line — Active, Suspended, Future Start, Terminated, or Expired. Same vocabulary and same rules as ⇌ Overall Status, just scoped to this line's enrollments. |
⇌ {Line} Enrollment Start Date | When their current enrollment in this line began. |
⇌ {Line} Enrollment End Date | When it ends — the real commitment end (from the contract record, including an already-signed renewal), never a billing-cycle date. Blank when open-ended. |
⇌ {Line} Visits Total / Visits Remaining | The line's visit allowance and what's left — for metered plans like "4×/month". Blank when the line's membership is unlimited. |
⇌ {Line} Trial Name / Trial Start Date / Trial End Date | Populated while their current enrollment in this line is a trial or intro offer. |
⇌ {Line} Visit Count | Lifetime attended visits within this line — classes and appointments both, counted by the same show-up rule as Visit tracking (no-shows and late cancels don't count). |
⇌ {Line} First Visit Date / Last Visit Date / Last Visit Name | Their attendance bookends in this line. |
⇌ {Line} Current Milestone / Next Milestone / Visits to Next Milestone | Milestone progress against the thresholds you configure per line (50 classes, 100, 250…). |
⇌ {Line} Last Purchase / Last Purchase Date | The most recent purchase attributed to this line. |
How things land in the right line
- Visits attribute by the class or appointment's Mindbody program, with the service's name as a fallback — so rotating daily class names ("Apex" today, "Romans" tomorrow) still land in Functional Fitness, and a recovery appointment lands in Recovery.
- Memberships and purchases attribute by name against each line's keywords — a "HYROX Annual Membership" belongs to the HYROX line wherever it was sold.
- History is included. When Service Lines is enabled, AutoSync seeds every line's fields from your full visit and membership history — counts don't start from zero on activation day.
Per-line status vs. Overall Status
The two answer different questions with the same vocabulary. ⇌ {Line} Enrollment Status
answers "where do they stand in this line?" — ⇌ Overall Status answers "where do
they stand with the studio?" A member whose Recovery membership lapsed while their training
membership runs is Terminated in Recovery, Active overall — active in any line means
active, period. That split is exactly what makes line-level automation safe: you can chase the
lapsed recovery membership without treating an active member like a churned one.
Automating on service lines
- Win-back per line —
⇌ Recovery Enrollment Statusis Terminated but⇌ Overall Statusis Active → a cross-sell to a member you already see every week. - Milestones per line — celebrate 100 classes in Functional Fitness separately from a 50th recovery session.
- Trials per line — a HYROX trial ending in 3 days with no HYROX membership yet is its own moment, invisible at the whole-studio level.
- Allowance nudges —
⇌ Recovery Visits Remaining = 0mid-month is an upgrade conversation.
