Trials
Trials are how most studios turn a lead into a member, so AutoSync tracks them closely. Tell it which pricing options count as trials, and it handles the fields and triggers that drive your trial nurture.
Configure your trials
In AutoSync settings, open Membership / Trial Assignments and select the pricing options you treat as trials (often named "trial", "intro", or "foundation"). If you don't configure any, AutoSync falls back to matching those words in the item name — but selecting them explicitly is more reliable.
What AutoSync tracks
When a client buys a configured trial, AutoSync populates the trial fields:
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
⇌ Membership Is Trial | Checked while the client's active memberships are all trials — the field workflows watch. |
⇌ Trial Name | Which trial they're on. |
⇌ Trial Start Date / ⇌ Trial End Date / ⇌ Trial Duration | The trial window. The start date isn't set until the trial activates — which, depending on how you configured the pricing option in Mindbody, is either on purchase or on the date of the first visit, so your "trial expiring soon" timing stays accurate. |
⇌ Trial Visits Remaining | Visits left, refreshed on every booking completion. |
Two ways to automate on a new trial: the AutoSync / Trial Purchased workflow trigger
(fires the moment the trial is bought), or a workflow that watches the
⇌ Membership Is Trial field change to checked. The generic
AutoSync / Purchase trigger also fires and carries the item name. Trials are
tracked in fields — there are no trial tags.
Trials can start on either side: accept them through Mindbody / Booker, or collect the lead in HighLevel and let a workflow apply the trial on the platform with the Record Purchase or Create or Update Client action.
